Product Details
The StealthStation surgical navigation system provides both optical and EM tracking capabilities, integration with external devices such as microscopes and ultrasound, a wide range of device offerings, and core software applications for neurosurgery and spine procedures, including the following:
*Biopsy
*Tumor resection
*Catheter placement
*Deep brain stimulation lead placement
*Spinal decompression or fusion (including but not limited to ACDF, ALIF, PLIF, TLIF, cortical screw placement)
*Spinal or pelvic fixation (including but not limited to SI fixation, occipital pedicle placement, cortical and facet screws, scoliosis, kyphosis fixation, or other deformity)
*Spinal or sacral trauma treatment (including but not limited to spinal aesthetics, sacroplasty)
CSD tractography resolves crossing fibers better compared to DTI.
It shows more complete fiber tracts compared to standard DTI.
Probabilistic fiber tracking and a higher-order diffusion model allow multiple fiber directions within a voxel to be identified, addressing the limitation of the DTI technique regarding crossing fibers.
DTI has limitations in generating fiber tracts when edema is present.
CSD performs better than diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) even in the presence of edema.
