Overview

Physicians working in the field of Interventional Pain Medicine require a radiofrequency (RF) ablation device that is easy to use, cost-effective, and capable of creating a large-volume, optimally shaped lesion.

Nimbus addresses this unmet clinical need by generating a large-volume lesion of 601 mm³ with a prolate spheroid (elongated ellipsoidal) morphology for pain treatment.



Physicians find the “down the beam” (along the needle axis) or perpendicular placement approach offered by Nimbus practical and reliable for routine RF applications. In addition, Nimbus provides significant clinical value in more technically challenging RF scenarios such as:
